5 loopy costly eating places in Las Vegas

It should come as no surprise that Las Vegas, the land of plenty, is home to some of the most expensive dining options in the country.

Here are some of the craziest and most expensive menu items you can order (or at least the most popular ones):

1. $ 5,000 five stars

The XS Nightclub at Encore presented a new drink on Saturday to mark the club’s five-year anniversary. It will only be available in 2014.

The drink is a mix of Pappy Van Winkle’s 23-year family reserve, Martini Gran Lusso vermouth for the 150th anniversary, Louis XIII Rare Cask 42.6 and DOM Benedictine “Black Monk” for the 500th anniversary, as well as Peychauds bitters, Angostura bitters and flamed orange oils .

The cocktail is delivered to the table on a gold tray. Of course, it has nothing to do with XS ‘$ 10,000 Ono with Charles Heidsieck Champagne Charlie 1981 and Louis XIII de Remy Martin Black Pearl Cognac. But that’s served with sterling silver XS cufflinks for men and an 18k white gold chain with a black pearl pendant.

2. $ 750 cupcake

Sweet Surrender at the Palazzo is famous for a $ 750 cupcake featured on the Travel Channel’s Bizarre Foods, where Andrew Zimmer described it as a great gimmick promoting the Las Vegas lifestyle of plenty.

The cupcake consists of Palmira Single Estate chocolate, Tahitian gold vanilla caviar, gold leaf, cognac and is served in a hand-blown glass ornament.

3. $ 777 burger

The $ 777 Kobe Beef and Maine Lobster Burger is the hallmark of the burger brasserie in Paris.

The burger is topped with caramelized onions, imported brie, crispy ham and 100-year-old balsamic vinegar and served with a bottle of Rose Dom Perignon champagne.

When some NPR reporters tried the burger in 2010, they said it tasted really expensive.

“Some of us felt that the lobster was a little overwhelming for the burger, so it was more of a lobster sandwich with beef than the other way around,” they said. “Still tasty.”

4. Fleur Burger 5000

If you go to Fleur in Mandalay Bay, you can order the Fleur Burger with Wagyu beef, a brioche bun, and French fries for $ 35. Add foie gras and black truffle for another $ 30.

Add in a bottle of 1995 Château Petrus and Ichendorf Brunello glasses and your total is $ 5,000.

5. Ice cream sundae with golden opulence

The Golden Opulence Sundae in Serendipity 3 is perhaps the most famous of the series, partly because it’s also found in Manhattan and Washington, DC

Tahitian vanilla ice cream, Amedei Porcelana chocolate syrup, candied fruits, almonds with gold coating, chocolate truffles and marzipan cherries make up the sundae, which is covered with edible 23-carat gold leaf, gold flakes and flower decorations made from sugar paste.

The sundae was founded in 2004 on the occasion of the restaurant’s 50th birthday. The restaurant needs 48 hours in advance to make the sundae, as ingredients are flown in from all over the world.
