A man accused of shooting on the Las Vegas Strip 3 is going to hire his own attorney

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – A man who was subjected to murder and attempted murder following a shooting on the Las Vegas Strip over the weekend plans to hire his own attorney.

Malik Frost, 25, appeared in the Las Vegas Justice Court on Wednesday morning. He was due to appear in court for the first time on Monday, but declined.

Frost is faced with a number of pending murders with a lethal weapon and two attempted murders with a lethal weapon.

According to his arrest report, the fatal shooting occurred in the early hours of April 25 outside the Hawaiian marketplace after he got into a confrontation with a group of people who were upset that he had entered the women’s room.
