Another Las Vegas resort prepares to expand business

Another Las Vegas hotel casino is preparing to extend the hotel’s opening hours.

The Rio will be taking hotel reservations all week starting April 19th. Caesars Entertainment Inc. does not accept midweek stays, but its casino has been open 24/7 since it opened in December.

The property adjacent to the Strip is Caesars’ last resort in Las Vegas to resume day-to-day operations.

Two other Caesars properties, Planet Hollywood and The Linq, expanded in March. Both had previously only stayed in their hotels for weekends. The Las Vegas Sands Corp. Palazzo Also expanded his hotel’s operations to accept midweek reservations in March.

Rio’s extended hours come shortly after the property announced that the Penn & Teller magic show will return on April 22nd.

“As the destination continues to recover, we look forward to more visitors enjoying all of the wonderful amenities our properties offer across the city,” said Sean McBurney, Caesars’ regional president for Las Vegas, in a press release Wednesday.

The review journal is owned by the family of Sheldon Adelson, the late chairman and CEO of Las Vegas Sands Corp.
