Big Music Festival Announces Lineup for Return to Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS – The art and music festival Life is Beautiful announced its artist cast on Wednesday and returned to Las Vegas with major annual events after they were canceled last year due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Singer-songwriter Billie Eilish, the Rock & Roll Hall of Famers Green Day, psychedelic music artist Tame Impala, and rapper A $ AP Rocky top the list of more than 60 artists who compete for the event, September 17-19 were posted.

“After a year we’re not only looking forward to welcoming our fans back to downtown Las Vegas, but also our partner artists, chefs, speakers and creators of all kinds,” said David Oehm, the event’s managing director, in a statement.

Festival director Lauren DelFrago said organizers are working closely with local and state officials to ensure a safe return of live music. Early tickets are sold out and general sales begin on Friday.

The announcement came after the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority allocated $ 150,000 to Life is Beautiful under $ 3.5 million in marketing and sponsorship for events over the next 16 months.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal reported that from May through October the board of directors paid $ 275,000 for the Downtown Rocks concert series, $ 2 million for the Professional Bull Riders Association championships in November, and $ 1 million for the U.S. Congress of Bowling Championship, which begins in March 2022, and lasts through July of this year.

Authority chief Steve Hill said Tuesday plans are being made to open a $ 987 million expansion to the Las Vegas Convention Center in May to be used by professional events such as the major industry exhibition World of Concrete in June .
