Buffets and entertainment in Las Vegas are making a comeback; Resorts World Announces Opening Details – Press Enterprise

A highly anticipated Las Vegas resort will open its doors for the first time in late June, and in late fall it will be the place to visit the residences of several notable artists such as Celine Dion, Katy Perry, Carrie Underwood and Luke Bryan.

Elsewhere in Vegas, resorts are bringing back shows that were on hold for most of the pandemic and expanding the capacity of their arcades.

Some resorts are also bringing their buffets back after being closed for more than a year.

Media Company and Toronto Star owner Torstar is diversifying in an unusual way. The company announced that it plans to launch an online casino betting brand in 2020 pending approval from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario. The chairman and co-owner of Torstar said the move will “support the growth and expansion of quality community-based journalism.” The Toronto Star has more.
