Check Josh Sportsbook for $ 10M if Josh Bilicki wins

If the year of the Long Shot in NASCAR continues on Sunday, all customers of the Dollar Loan Center in Nevada could be off the hook and Circa Sportsbook could be hooked for $ 10 million.

Dollar Loan Center founder and CEO Chuck Brennan bet $ 10,000 to win $ 10 million at Circa against Josh Bilicki, at odds of 1,000 to 1, to win the Pennzoil 400 on Las Vegas Motor Speedway to win.

The Dollar Loan Center is the main sponsor of Bilicki’s Rick Must Racing # 52 Ford Mustang, and the company (dontbebroke.com) will repay all loans from customers in Nevada if he wins his first NASCAR race in his career.

“We’re going all-in on Josh Bilicki this year,” Brennan said of the Menomonee Falls, a native of Wisconsin.

Brennan’s bet is a hedge against potential losses in the action, similar to the million dollar hedge bets that Houston-based furniture store owner Jim “Mattress Mack” McIngvale has made over the past few years.

“Chuck has always loved a good promotion, and we’re excited to accept his bet on Josh Bilicki to win the $ 10 million Pennzoil 400,” said Derek Stevens, owner of Circa.

The first two races of the 2021 season were won by first-time cup winners and 80-1 shots as Michael McDowell won the Daytona 500 on February 14 and Christopher Bell on February 21 at the Daytona Road Course.

William Byron won 30-1 tickets when he won the Cup Series race at Homestead-Miami Speedway on February 28 for his second Career Cup victory.

Martin Truex Jr. is the 6-1 favorite at Westgate to win the Pennzoil 400. Kevin Harvick, Denny Hamlin and Chase Elliott are 7-1, Brad Keselowski and Joey Logano are 8-1, and Kyle Larson is 10-1.

“Truex was very quick in the Joe Gibbs Toyota last week. He sure looks like a guy who can win this week. He has a decent history here, ”said Ed Salmons, Westgate vice president of risk. “Without practice, you really have no idea what’s coming. All you can really do now is the final race and story.

“This race is definitely wide open.”

Logano won the LVMS Spring Cup last year and Las Vegas-born Kurt Busch won LVMS in the fall.

The Penske Tandem team from Logano and Brad Keselowski excelled at LVMS. But Salmons noticed that they were much quicker at Homestead when he brushed them off his list of potential games this week.

“In the past you could reduce almost every race to three people who could win. But this year it could be six, seven or eight, ”he said. “Kyle Busch fought and I don’t think Byron can drive back to back so I get the other three cars for Hendricks – (Alex) Bowman, Larson and Elliott.

“And you have Truex, Hamlin and Harvick. I think the winner will be among those six. “

Bilicki is in a group of eight drivers at Westgate who have the longest odds on the board at 10,000-1.
