The long-awaited Chick-fil-A, which is taking over the former Claim Jumper area on West Charleston Boulevard and South Fort Apache Road, opens on Thursday, January 7th. The site plans to offer roadside and roadside pickup for mobile orders via the Chick-fil-a mobile app.
Typically, Chick-fil-A First hosts an opening event where customers camp for a year to win free sandwiches. However, during the pandemic, the brand plans to surprise 100 local heroes who are making an impact in the Las Vegas area to donate $ 25,000 to a local food bank through Feeding America.
In 2019, Claim Jumper closed its third Las Vegas location in two years to make way for this Chick-fil-A location, the 11th in the Las Vegas area, stretching from the Strip to Henderson. The 10th location opened in July at Las Vegas Boulevard and 215. The Chicken Sandwich Kings built a 5011-square-foot drive-through restaurant with an outdoor dining area across from Boca Park and a half-mile from Tivoli Village.
Local franchisee Bill Carnohan hired 125 full- and part-time workers for the location. Carnohan and his family moved to Las Vegas in June after 20 years in Charlotte, North Carolina, where he had breakfast with his daughter Maryn at Chick-fil-A. His son Bryce also worked as a team member throughout the high school.
Chick-Fil-A, 1100 S. Fort Apache Road. Open Monday to Saturday from 6:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
