Crash knocks over 2 automobiles within the entrance yard of Las Vegas

Las Vegas Police are trying to determine how two vehicles overturned in the front yard of a house in the central Las Vegas Valley early Wednesday.

Police Commissioner David Gordon said a GMC Yukon “hit two parked vehicles,” then hit the side of a house on the 6100 block of Foothill Boulevard near Jones Boulevard and Russell Avenues. The GMC driver then fled the area on foot and could not be found.

Two overturned vehicles were observed in the front yard. A steel fence in front of the house was also seen torn from the ground.

The crash happened just before 5 a.m. and there were no injuries.

The homeowner declined to comment on the review journal, but a neighbor blurted out, “That was a new fence!”

An investigation is ongoing.
