One person died in a fatal accident on Friday night in north Las Vegas.
“At 7:25 pm on Friday, officers were dispatched to the East Craig Road and North Bruce Street areas after receiving multiple calls about a traffic accident,” North Las Vegas police said in a press release.
Police said a Hyundai SUV drove west on Craig and approached Bruce on a green light. Another vehicle, a Hyundai sedan, was driving east on Craig when the driver tried to turn left on Bruce with a yellow light.
The limousine stopped in front of the oncoming traffic, where it was held by the SUV on the passenger side. A person sitting on the passenger side of the limousine died on the spot, police said.
The limo driver and two other passengers were rushed to hospital. The driver of the SUV stayed on site and works with the police. Neither impairment nor speed are currently considered a factor, police said.
All directions are closed to Craig and Bruce.
