Emeril’s New Orleans Fish House opens its spring menu in Las Vegas

One of the best things about living in a city with so many restaurants is the insane number of new dishes that are added to the menu every season change, using the freshest ingredients (not much frozen here unless it’s ice cream) .

At Emeril’s New Orleans Fish House in the MGM Grand, you’ll find the spring menu in full swing in the prestigious Vegas location of celebrity chef Emeril Lagasse. Ken Lum, Head Chef at Emeril’s, has made a number of new additions and improvements to the menu. If you arrive for dinner, try seared scallops and spaghetti with heirloom tomatoes and a pistachio and basil pesto. Spanish squid a la plancha (grilled) with cucumber relish, heirloom tomatoes and aguachile; or a Kurobuta pork chop, grilled with pea sprouts and served with adobo jus. To get really adventurous, order the Hawaiian ahi poke with dynamite sauce and sweet potato chips. or Creole crab tartar sauce and fried okra salad.

Of course, you can still get delicious Emeril dishes like the grilled prawn starter with rosemary biscuit, grilled Louisiana-style oysters and crab cakes. At the seafood tower, fill yourself up with oysters, shrimp, lobster and Alaskan king crab legs. Don’t forget to order a cocktail like the smoked maple margarita with Montezuma blanco tequila and barrel smoked maple syrup first.

A popular starter is the Creole seafood cooking with tons of clams, clams, jumbo shrimp, andouille sausage, and corn. Grab your gumbo to start, then maybe head to the Carolina Gold Jambalaya for jumbo golf prawns and andouille sausage. Grilled Cedarwood New Zealand Salmon has been a staple on the menu for many years and for good reason, and has a classic twist with Emeril’s Worcestershire sauce. Fried chicken is a southern staple, so you can find it here, of course, for a 16-ounce ribeye from Creekstone Farms.

And dessert is sometimes overlooked, but not by us. Emeril’s banana cream cake is a legend in the office! And as long as you order a dessert, give in to the recommended wine pairings, e.g. B. a Donnafugata Ben Rye Passito di Pantelleria for the cake or the Vidal Inniskillin ice wine from Canada with the bread pudding Bread & Butter. served with bourbon crème anglaise.

Or treat yourself to a dessert drink and forget about the dessert itself – it will surely make your night even more special. A favorite is the Irish coffee with Jamesons, but the birthday cake martini is made with Burnett’s whipped cream vodka, Frangelico liquor, and even with sprinkles and a candle! Delicious!
