Illinois refugee arrested in Las Vegas

An Illinois refugee was arrested Saturday in Las Vegas for four attempted murders, according to a Facebook post by an Illinois police department.

Kyle Reddick, 27, was wanted in connection with a January 1 shoot in Galesburg, Illinois.

According to Galesburg police, four people were shot dead in a vehicle that morning. The vehicle was parked in the driveway of a private residence, the department said, and the shots came from the front of the residence.

The victims drove themselves to a local hospital for treatment for their injuries, and the department said in a Jan. 6 mail that all four should survive.

An arrest warrant was issued for Reddick following the shooting.

It’s unclear whether Reddick had a connection to Las Vegas. US Marshal of Nevada Gary Schofield said Sunday that local US Marshal Service MPs were instrumental in the case.
