LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – Former MGM Resorts CEO Jim Murren listed his unique architectural property for $ 10.5 million. The property is located in the West Valley in The Ridges, an exclusive gated community at the foot of Red Rock Canyon.

Created by Murren, his wife Heather, architects Marmol Radziner, builder Jack Raftery, and artist James Turrell, the glass and steel residence is nearly 13,000 square feet and has a unique on-site art installation. The property extends over approximately 1.5 hectares.

The property, named Skyspace, is located at 7 Painted Feather Way near Flamingo and the city center.

Ivan Sher, director of the Ivan Sher group at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Nevada Properties, is the listing agent.

“It’s architectural art with some of the most incredible views of the Las Vegas Strip and the entire desert skyline,” said Sher.

The property includes:

  • 4 bedroom suites in the main building,
  • 8 bathrooms,
  • A freestanding one bedroom casita,
  • Luxury equipment:
    • Elevator
    • underground half basketball court
    • Residential fitness room
    • Office space
    • In-home cinema
    • Wine cellar
    • free standing formal dining room
  • Exterior equipment:
    • private terrace
    • Zen garden
    • Whirlpool
    • cold jump
    • Outdoor kitchen
    • Pool overlooks Bear’s Best Las Vegas golf course

The property’s James Turrell “Skyspace” is an art installation that plays with space and light and, according to the Ivan Sher Group, is one of the artist’s few residential installations. The Skyspace’s advanced technology program can be purchased outside of home sales.

“Nothing compares to the unique experience this house offers,” said Sher. “The architecture is unlike anything else in Las Vegas. It really is a desert sanctuary. “
