Las Vegas tops Priceline’s three lists of travel destinations

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – Everything is coming to Vegas in Priceline’s latest look at spring travel plans.

Las Vegas ranks # 1 on the list of the most popular hotel destinations, flight destinations, and affordable hotel stays. It ranks second on a fourth list, the most popular rental car destinations.

“After the CDC announced on April 2 that travel would be fine for vaccinated travelers two weeks after their final dose, Priceline saw flight searches increase 16% compared to the previous week,” said a press release from the online travel agent .

Priceline analyzed all hotel bookings made by consumers in the United States between January 1 and March 3 to determine the most popular destinations for the second quarter (April 1 – June 30, 2021) of 2021.

This year, the average hotel stay in the 10 cities under is less than $ 140 a night. Priceline analyzed the average daily prices of all stars for hotel bookings for trips between April 1 and June 30, 2021 to determine the cheapest destinations.

Priceline notes that Americans “prefer beach and tropical vacations, along with continued appreciation for our surroundings and an increased willingness to combine our vacation with work.”

The company also predicts that last-minute travel plans, depending on the pandemic lifestyle, are likely to persist, although the average advance booking window is gradually increasing.
