If you’re in Vegas over Mother’s Day with mom, celebrate with one of these oh-so-fabulous brunch, breakfast, or treat, and you’ll be all over again!
Give your mom a great meal and a spectacular view of that Eiffel Tower restaurant (Paris, 702.948.6937). In addition to a $ 59 three-course meal that includes lobster benedict, creme brulee French toast, and other goodies, the half-scale views from the French landmark can’t be beat. How considerate!
Check in for breakfast on the terrace Salt & ivy (Aria, 877.230.2742) for a nice start to Mother’s Day. The restaurant offers huge Dutch baby pancakes of a variety of flavors – vegetables, serrano ham, and mahon cheese – as well as a lemon curd and blueberry beauty that can even serve as a shared dessert.
Even with Aria, Bardot Brasserie (877.230.2742) practically specializes in decadent weekend brunch. One of the nicest is the French toast, a stacked mix of brioche, vanilla pod mascarpone (num-num), and orgeat syrup to enjoy amidst the French café decor.
Maxies (The Linq Promenade, 702.754.4400) is also known for its daily brunch options, and mom is sure to love over-the-top breakfast creations like cotton candy pancakes with cotton candy cream cheese and cotton candy.
We all know mom is an advocate of the beautiful things so go ahead primrose (Park MGM, 702.730.6600). This French country house inspired restaurant is so pretty, and the only drinkable Prosecco and Rosé packets are sure to make mom very happy indeed.
While this isn’t a classic brunch, you can make reservations for one of the sessions on the 23rd floor Tea lounge (Waldorf Astoria, 702.590.8888), it’s a fabulous alternative. Scones, finger sandwiches, tea, great views – Mumsy will be in your pocket.
Brunch at Border Grill (Mandalay Bay, 702.632.7200) is just fabulous whether the parents are involved or not – but given that we’re talking about Mother’s Day, she’s better! Rainbow cauliflower tacos, vampiro shrimp tacos, blood orange margaritas and a churro ice cream sandwich are just a few of the highlights.
At the Giada (The Cromwell, 855.442.3271), weekend brunch is a favorite for moms of all ages, especially those who are fans of the celebrity chef. The restaurant has some of Giada De Laurentiis’ favorites, as well as specialties like the Sunrise Polenta Waffles and the Grilled Cheese (unusual with a lemony touch and quite amazing). This mother also loves the pastry basket, which contains a selection of sweet breads such as almond croissants and cinnamon rolls (tip tip!).
At the Black Tap Craft Burger & Beer (The Venetian, 702.414.2210) combine a truffle burger and watermelon smash into a Mother’s Day bundle you’ll love. The Prime Burger is anointed with black truffle mayo and a truffle vinaigrette, and the cocktail is a light refreshment with vodka, lime, simple syrup, watermelon, and Thai basil.
Osteria Fiorella (Red Rock Resort, 702.797.7777) also entices with a brunch for Mother’s Day. Choose between focaccia French toast with sweet ricotta and whistle pig maple syrup, fruit or a parfait. Spaghetti Carbonara, Ricotta Toast, or Hayden Mills Polenta; and an optional pastry tray.
