LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – As restaurants continue to struggle to find new workers, they also face food and drink shortages.
Many say that vendors make an effort to stock up on certain types of alcohol and foods.
Crazy Pita owner Mehdi Zarhloul says getting chicken for these three locations wasn’t easy. The seller he uses had to find a new place to get it.
“We have faced some bottlenecks in many areas, product shortages, as so many companies are struggling to find workers and transportation,” said Zarhloul. “At restaurant level, for example, we had problems with chicken.”
Some restaurant owners tell us there are shortages of certain alcohol bottles as well – forcing them to switch brands. Many say that increasing demand and bottlenecks in the supply chain are responsible for this.
