SHARE Village Las Vegas pantry will stay open 7 days every week to feed these in want throughout the COVid-19 outbreak

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – SHARE Village Las Vegas expands food aid access for those affected by COVID-19 due to vacations and layoffs.

SHARE Village, formerly known as Veterans Village, issued the following statement:

“The large number of layoffs and vacations by our gaming and hospitality workers has created a much greater need in Las Vegas than expected,” said Arnold Stalk, founder of SHARE Village Las Vegas. “We’ve seen food and nutrition requests grow by 500% over the past week. We are here to serve the Las Vegas community in any way we can. This also includes services for veterans and seniors as needed. ”

SHARE Village Las Vegas said its food rescue program will continue uninterrupted.

Those in need of assistance with eating can visit the SHARE Village Las Vegas Pantry seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
