Suspect in custody after Las Vegas police encircled South Valley home

One person was taken into custody Monday after Las Vegas police surrounded a home in the southern Las Vegas Valley.

Police said a call came in at 10:36 a.m. to a house on the 7200 block of Dingo Court near East Warm Springs and Paradise Streets

In an email, the Metropolitan Police Department wrote that the person “may have fired shots at the residence,” but no injuries have been reported. A man allegedly threatened to shoot his roommate, police said.

Police reported Monday afternoon that an undisclosed person was taken into custody at around 1:15 p.m. Further details were not immediately available.
