The Jean Georges Steakhouse in Las Vegas promises food at the highest level

You have just landed at McCarran International Airport. As you make your way to your taxi, Uber, or rental car, keep one thing in mind: you have that unforgettable Las Vegas experience that you will remember for the rest of your life. We can help immediately. Just say three words to your taxi driver or Uber driver (or type this into your sat nav): Jean Georges Steakhouse. You can thank us later – and you definitely will.

This slice of culinary heaven specializes in nothing but the best in each category. You will get a feel for this perfection in the dining room itself, perfectly equipped with nothing inappropriate and a very attentive staff. Don’t waste time starting here with one of the restaurant’s custom cocktails. We like the litchi-raspberry bellini, which is so crispy and delicious with prosecco, lychee and raspberry, or the JG Vesper, a vodka-forward pleasure with gin, aperitif and lemon.

Starters range from the surf (grilled octopus or shrimp wrapped in bacon) to the lawn (Japanese Wagyu carpaccio with black truffle fritters). There is also a great crispy sushi sampler, accompanied by chipotle mayonnaise. They all have one thing in common: the presentation is stunning. You always have your camera ready.

The same applies to the main courses. Obviously, steaks are king here, from filet mignons to bone-in ribeyes (all USDA Prime from Colorado) to Japanese and American wagyu (pair them with either saltwater prawns or roasted bone marrow to really overdo things). But if your taste is more poultry, don’t sleep on the crispy organic chicken, another great presentation served with spinach and hot sauce.

Of course, sometimes you just want a nice burger. There’s nothing wrong with that. And there’s definitely nothing wrong with the JG cheeseburger, which is topped with truffle mayonnaise, brie and a yuzu cucumber.

End this unforgettable night with a dessert. Like the rest of the menu, it’s spectacular, especially the market citrus fruits – accompanied by yuzu cream, white chocolate, and tropical fruits.
