The Nevada attorney general finds that the Las Vegas city council has violated the state’s open meeting law

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) – The Las Vegas City Council has reportedly violated the Nevada Open Meeting law.

The Nevada Attorney General found that the council cut off the microphone of a man who made critical comments during a council meeting.

The attorney general’s report went on to say that a man named Dan Rolle made public comment during a November 2020 meeting criticizing Mayor Pro Tem Stavros Anthony.

Rolle claims he was interrupted and that his microphone was cut off.

The city council must approve the report at the next meeting.
