The Venetian and Palazzo reveal their renovated pools overlooking the Las Vegas Strip

The Venetian renovated its five-acre pool deck for the 2021 season with new cabanas with a few private plunge pools, a new 50-egg restaurant, and a revamped cocktail program from New York barman Sam Ross, who created the drinks at The Dorsey. Rosina and Electra Cocktail Club at the resort.

The pools, which run the length of the Venetian and Palazzo, now contain references to the Italian Riviera. Italian art and architecture can be found everywhere. Also new day beds and chaise longues in the pools and 10 new cabanas.

For a little freshen up, the Venetian pool deck has four large pools, including three infinity pools, surrounded by lounge chairs, lounge chairs in the pool, and several day beds in the center of the pool. The Venetian deck has a splash pad for kids and a quieter spa pool for relaxation.

The Palazzo Pooldeck offers seven pools, while the Venezia Tower has an intimate pool garden with partially shaded areas throughout the day.

Tao Beach has decided not to reopen for the 2021 season and is currently undergoing major renovations, so the day club will remain closed in 2020.

The 55 pool cabanas at the Venetian are between 180 and 1,450 square feet and have air-conditioning and a personal cabana host. Cabanas for 20 people have a plunge pool, day bed, private shower, chilled face towels, vintage games, and two 75-inch HD TVs. All Venetian cabanas have a private toilet, built-in charging stations, a fully stocked refrigerator, carafes with fruit water, four chaise longues and a fruit platter. Those without a plunge pool can accommodate up to 15 people.

On the palazzo side, the cabanas can accommodate up to eight people and have air conditioning, four chaise longues, a full refrigerator, a 32-inch screen, fog machines and a ceiling fan. Customers can request alcoholic cars that include Bloody Marys or a selection of classic spritzers, Hugo or Limoncello, Bellinis or Rossinis.

The new Capri Pool Restaurant & Bar is located on the pool deck of the Palazzo. The restaurant of 50 Eggs Hospitality Group, the parent company of Yardbird Southern Table & Bar and Chica restaurants, has an outdoor bar, lounge and casual dining area. Dishes include a breakfast menu of breakfast burritos, buttermilk pancakes, avocado toast, an acai bowl, and a quinoa and egg white omelet sandwich. For lunch, guests can order sushi, pizza, a capri salad or sandwiches.

Last year the resort opened the Spritz Restaurant & Bar, a 50-egg sister restaurant to Capri, on the Venetian side for breakfast and lunch with slushies and a Spritz cocktail menu. Guests can dine al fresco or order by the window and dine from their pool chair.

In addition to the Venetian pool deck, guests will find the Truth & Tonic Wellness Café with a vegan menu and drinks.

Sam Ross revised the cocktail menu by the pool with shaken classics, slushies and low-alcohol and non-alcoholic cocktails. The spa day consists of vodka, coconut water, elderflower, limes and agaves. The watermelon cooler contains tequila, lime, watermelon, cocchi pink and agave. and the non-alcoholic refreshment Reviver # 9 contains coconut water, ginger, grapefruit, lime and agave.
