The weekend brunch here on Saturday and Sunday is a must at least once. Since the weather is lovely, reserve an outdoor table and you’ll be surrounded by lush foliage, towering palm trees, views of the luxury pool, and a beach-front atmosphere. Fresh, cold-pressed juices are a good place to start with a favorite flavor, orange-turmeric, made from orange, apple, aloe vera, turmeric-lemon, and black pepper. The brunch specialties include chicken and waffles with fried basil chicken and a hearty bacon waffle, blueberry pancakes with cinnamon-sweet butter and the frittata Bianca, a vegetarian-friendly mix of egg white, spinach, asparagus, mushrooms, tomatoes and goat cheese and a roasted pepper coulis.
For lunch there is an incredibly fresh-tasting ceviche with shrimp and snapper and the crispy lemongrass cauliflower with a sweet chili dip sauce. Wood-fired pizzas, large salads, mahi mahi tacos, paninis, desserts and more complete the large menu on Veranda.
